Coronavirus India: Lowest cases of corona in the country after 61 days, 2427 people died in 24 hours.

The second wave of corona virus in India is getting weaker. After 61 days in the country, one lakh new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in a day, which is the lowest since April 5.

With this, the daily positivity rate has gone up to 6.34 percent. During this period, 2,427 more people died due to the epidemic. This is the lowest number of people who lost their lives due to infection in the country after about 43 days.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 1,00,636 new cases of corona virus have been found in 24 hours. After this, the total number of epidemic cases in the country has increased to 2,89,09.975.

At the same time, due to the death of 2,427 more people due to infection, the death toll has gone up to 3,49,186. The number of cases under treatment has also come down to 14 lakh.

After the discharge of 1,74,399 new patients on the previous day, the total number of discharged patients has reached 2,71,59,180.

Coronavirus India: This is the 25th consecutive day when the number of people recovering is more than the number of infected.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 15 lakh 87 thousand 589 samples were tested for Kovid-19 on Sunday, taking the total to more than 36 crore 63 lakh in the country so far.

At the same time, 13 lakh 90 thousand 916 vaccines of corona virus were administered in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total vaccination figure has crossed 23 crore 27 lakh 86 thousand.

Let us tell you that on August 7 last year, the number of infected people had crossed 20 lakhs, on August 23, 30 lakhs and on September 5, more than 40 lakhs.

At the same time, the total cases of infection crossed 50 lakhs on 16th September, 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October, 90 lakhs on 20th November.

In the country, these cases crossed one crore on December 19 and crossed two crore on May 4.

Group of Ministers meeting on Corona, Health Minister said – 83 percent cases in 10 states.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan addressed the 28th meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) on the status of COVID-19 in the country.

In the meeting, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey were also present.

In the meeting, the Health Minister said that there are 14,01,609 active cases of corona virus left in the country.

The Union Health Minister said that the cases of corona coming daily from May 12 are decreasing continuously.

The cases recovered since May 14 are more than the new cases. 83 percent of the cases are in 10 states, the remaining 17 percent are in 26 states and union territories. Less than 1,000 cases are coming daily in 7 states.
