Corona’s most active cases after 211 days in the country, 442 deaths, 13,681 new cases in UP.

After the arrival of 1,94,720 new cases of corona infection in the country, the total number of infected people has increased to 3,60,70,510. Of these, 4,868 cases are of the Omicron variant.

According to the Union Health Ministry, at present, the number of active cases in the country is 9,55,319, which is the highest in the last 211 days.

With the death of 442 more patients, the death toll from corona has reached 4,84,655.

In Uttar Pradesh, 13,681 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. There are 57,355 active cases in the state. At present, the positivity rate is 5.71 percent.

Omicron total 4,868 cases.

Out of a total of 4,868 cases of Omicron, 1,805 people have so far recovered or have migrated out of the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,281 cases.

After this, 645 cases have been reported in Rajasthan, 546 in Delhi, 479 in Karnataka, and 350 in Kerala.

Recovery rate down.

The ministry said that at present the percentage of patients under treatment is 2.65 percent of the total cases of infection. The national recovery rate from corona has come down to 96.01 percent. On May 26 last year, 2,11,298 cases of infection were reported in a single day in the country.

The increased daily infection rate.

In the last 24 hours, the number of patients undergoing treatment for corona has increased by 1,33,873.

According to the ministry, the daily infection rate was recorded at 11.05 percent, while the weekly infection rate is 9.82 percent.

More than 153.80 crore doses were given.

The number of people who have recovered from the disease has gone up to 3,46,30,536 while the death rate has been recorded at 1.34 percent.

Under the vaccination campaign, more than 153.80 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country so far. States still have 16.50 crore unused vaccines available.

481 resident doctors infected in Maharashtra.
