Corona Vaccination: For the second time in five days, more than one crore vaccines were administered, the number of vaccinations crossed 65 crores.

By the end of this year, India is making a strong move towards immunization of all people above the age of 18 years.

For the second time within five days, more than one crore doses of the anti-corona vaccine were administered on Tuesday. Earlier on August 27, 1.08 crore vaccines were administered.

According to the data of the Co-Win platform, which was set up to monitor and conduct the vaccination campaign systematically, as of 6 pm on Tuesday, 1.08 crore doses of the vaccine had been administered.

Vaccines were administered at 76,964 centers, including 73,506 government and 3,458 private vaccination centers.

According to the data, more than 65 crore doses have been administered across the country so far. This includes 50.12 crore first doses and 14.90 crore second doses.

There is also enthusiasm among people to get vaccinated. More than 90 lakh people registered on the Covin platform on Tuesday.

Decline in active cases after several days.

There has also been a decrease in new cases of corona infection in the country and a large number of patients have been cured. Due to this, active cases have come down.

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, more than 30 thousand new cases were found in the last 24 hours and more than 36 thousand patients have been cured.

During this, a decrease of about six thousand has been registered inactive cases and active cases have come down to 3.70 lakh, which is 1.13 percent of the total cases.

There is currently no case of highly contagious COVID-19 variant C.1.2 in India, found in many countries including China.

There is still a threat from the Delta variant of Corona in the country and the world. Meanwhile, there is an atmosphere of panic due to the knock of the C.1.2 variant.

However, no case has been reported for the C.1.2 variant in India at the moment. Government sources on Wednesday said that no case of the new COVID-19 variant C.1.2 has been reported in India so far.

The news agency had told in its report that a new variant of Corona has been found in many other countries including South Africa which can be highly contagious.

The risk posed by this variant can be gauged from the fact that it can circumvent even the antibody protection provided by the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.

Scientists at the NICD and the KRISP in South Africa have said that the new version of SARS-CoV-2c may be more contagious and replace the current COVID-19 vaccine, may exceed the security provided.
