Corona infected family sought financial help From Govt: Hyderabad. There is no money left for the husband’s treatment, the woman pleaded for help from the government.

After recovering from a corona infection in Hyderabad, the wife of a man who got treated for other health problems has sought financial help.

She has said that one and a half crore rupees have been spent on her husband’s treatment since he got corona infected. Now neither he has anything nor with the family.

For subsequent treatment, the only option left is to seek help from the government. People are recovering from the infection but many of them are facing other problems.

One of them is Manish Kumar Gohiya, an IT employee of Madhya Pradesh origin who works in Hyderabad.

Manish underwent a Covid test on May 4 in which he was found to be corona infected. On May 10, he had to be admitted to a local hospital due to falling oxygen labels.

He has recovered from the infection but the condition of his lungs is bad due to the use of steroids. Manish and Sheela got married last year only.

Sheela says that ‘Till now we were able to spend money for his treatment but now our deposits have run out.

He has recovered from the infection but is struggling with other problems. I don’t want them to lose just because of the paucity of money.

Although she got the assistance of Rs 2 lakh from the Madhya Pradesh government, Sheela says that this amount was exhausted in a day as Manish is still on ECMO support.

Apart from the central and state government, Sheela has also asked people for money for her husband’s treatment.

She told that she has also appealed for help on the crowdfunding platforms Milaap, Ketti, and Impactguru.
