Due to the increasing number of corona cases in the country, the total active cases are also increasing continuously.

Now the total active cases have reached 40,370. With this, the total death toll due to the disease has gone up to 5,24,757.

The daily positivity rate also increased.

According to the health ministry, the daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.41 percent and the weekly positivity rate at 1.75 percent.

The number of people who have been cured of the disease has increased to 4,26,48,308, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.21 percent.

On the other hand, under the anti-corona vaccination campaign, so far more than 194.92 crore corona vaccines have been administered in the country.

Deaths were recorded in these states.

In the last 24 hours, 10 people died due to corona in the country.

According to the information, five patients have died in Kerala, two from Delhi and one each from Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Maharashtra seems to be becoming a hotspot of Corona. On Friday, 3,081 new cases of corona infection were reported in Maharashtra.

This is a big jump in corona infection in the last four months. In Mumbai alone, 1,956 new cases of corona infection have been reported.

With this, the infection rate in the Mumbai metropolis has reached 12.7 percent.

At the same time, 655 new cases of the corona were registered in Delhi on Friday while two more deaths were registered. The positivity rate in Delhi has increased to 3.11 percent.

A day before, on Thursday, 2813 new cases were reported in Maharashtra, while one person died of infection. There are 13,329 active cases in Maharashtra.

This is the second consecutive day in the national capital that more than 600 new cases of corona infection have been found and the positivity rate has been recorded above three percent.

A day earlier on Thursday, 622 cases of the corona were found in Delhi while two patients died. Not only this, the infection rate in Delhi was recorded at 3.17 percent on Thursday.
