A vegetable shopkeeper in the Kollam district has accused Congress workers of threatening them. The vegetable shopkeeper alleges that Congress is collecting funds for the Bharat Jodo campaign in Kollam.

Under this, two thousand rupees were demanded. He was beaten up for not paying the money. The video of this incident is going viral.

The vegetable shopkeeper said, ‘A team of Congress workers came to my shop and started asking for donations for the India Jodo Yatra.

I gave 500 rupees, but they started asking for 2 thousand rupees. They threw away my scales and vegetables for not paying the money.

The second leg of the journey started from Kollam.

Let us inform you that the second phase of the Bharat Jodi Yatra started in the Kollam district of Kerala on Friday.

Leader of Opposition from Kerala VD Satheshan, General Secretary KC Venugopal, Senior Leaders Ramesh Chennithala, K Muraleedharan, and NK Premachandran is included in the Yatra.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Rahul Gandhi will interact with workers, entrepreneurs, and party colleagues during the halt of the yatra at Neendakara in the district.

Tamil Nadu government launched a scheme to provide breakfast in government primary schools, and CM Stalin inaugurated it.

The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday announced a scheme to provide breakfast to students of classes 1 to class 5 in government primary schools.

In the first phase, the scheme is being implemented in 1,545 schools in corporations, municipalities, and villages.

The scheme was inaugurated in Madurai today on the occasion of the birthday of former Chief Minister Anna.

Speaking on the occasion, Stalin said, in the first phase, 1.16 lakh students would be provided breakfast.

I assure everyone that this scheme will be further expanded. No one should consider it a freebie, it is the duty of the government to do so.
