Congress High Command: No Rebellion Against Captain In Punjab

Congress High Command: no rebellion against Captain in Punjab. In the eyes of the Congress high command, there is no rebellion against the Captain in Punjab, a blow to the Sidhu camp.

The Congress High Command seems determined to rein in the campaign of discontent against Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in Punjab this time.

The general secretary in charge of Punjab, Harish Rawat, after talking to former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday on the internal turmoil within the state, declared that there is no rebellion in the Punjab Congress.

This stand of Rawat is a setback for the supporters of State President Navjot Singh Sidhu directly raising the flag against the Chief Minister.

Report submitted to Rahul.

After knowing the stand of the party’s high command on the current dispute of Punjab Congress, Harish Rawat will soon go to Chandigarh so that a reconciliation can be done between the divided state Congress in two factions.

Harish Rawat discussed with Rahul Gandhi on Saturday about the turmoil in Punjab Congress. It is said that during this time he also submitted a report.

Will try to find a solution.

These included matters related to the MLAs raising their voice against the Captain, besides the recent controversial statements of Navjot Singh Sidhu and his advisors.

After this meeting, Rawat said that he would go to Chandigarh in the next two to three days to discuss with the leaders of Punjab.

During this, Rawat will hold separate talks with Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and State President Navjot Sidhu to find a solution to the current turmoil.

Sidhu’s threat went unnoticed by the leadership.

By the way, before handing over the chair of the state president to Sidhu, during the period of upheaval, the Congress leadership was more inclined towards Sidhu than the Captain.

But after taking over the command of the state Congress, Sidhu’s uncontrolled style of functioning and communication gradually became a cause of trouble for the high command itself.

From appointing disputed people as advisors to not giving freedom to work, Sidhu’s latest threat of ‘playing with bricks’ has also got the leadership very upset.

Captain Amarinder will be the face.

Perhaps that is why the Congress leadership seems to be standing firmly with Captain Amarinder Singh this time as part of a strategy to maintain political balance in Punjab.

Harish Rawat had also discussed the issue with Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday and the party leadership has given him the freedom to even adopt the option of discipline to curb dissent.

This time as soon as the rebellion started, the high command had made it clear that the Congress would fight the 2022 elections under the leadership of Captain Amarinder.
