Church in Kerala has published a book on love jihad.

Amidst the ongoing political turmoil following Pala Bishop Joseph Kallerengat’s statement on love and narcotic jihad, new controversy has erupted in Kerala over a book published by another church diocese.

It mentions nine steps to implicate Christian girls in love jihad. Many Muslim organizations have demanded the government to seize it.

Published by Thamarassery Diocese (Province of Religion) under Syro Malabar Church, this book is for the students of class X and XII.

This 130-page handbook, published by the Diocese’s Sermons Department, states that love jihad is a reality.

In this, some measures have also been suggested to the girls of the society to avoid falling into the love trap.

The book mentions cavisham, a form of witchcraft, and is said to be used by clerics to implicate Christian girls.

Church official Jan Pallikkavayalil said in a statement on Wednesday: “This book has not been published because of hatred or objection to any religion.”

Its aim is only to keep the Christian youth attached to the roots and save the girls of the community from exploitation.

Allegations of sexual terrorism against Christian women.

The statement issued by the dioceses called on the state to monitor efforts to disturb communal harmony.

But also said that it has been receiving complaints of Christian girls being targets of sexual terrorism for some time.

During the investigation, it has been found that hundreds of girls of the community were made victims of sexual harassment in the name of love marriage.

Pala Bishop got the support of MP Gopi.

Actor and Rajya Sabha member Suresh Gopi met Pala Bishop Kallarengat. After this, he said that no one needs to worry.

The Pala bishop has not made any statement against any particular religion, nor is his remark intended to create religious disharmony.
