The priest here, Mahant Devraj Kapil Maharaj, while describing the mother, told that about 200 years ago the temple was established by his ancestor Brahmalin Mahant Hiralal Ji Maharaj.

He told that the ride of Kuar Baba used to come on Maharaj. Mother came in a dream and provided him an opportunity to serve her, after which he got the temple of Karoli Mata built.

For this, by bringing it from Rajasthan, he got his life established in the form of his mother’s Pindi.

Later, the mother was made to sit here in the form of an idol. At present, Maa Kali, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati, Maa Chamunda, and Kunar Baba are seated in the Mata Mandir.

Mahant Kapil Maharaj told that the mother always fulfills the wishes of her devotees. He told that about 20 years ago a devotee had offered his mother by cutting off her tongue in the fulfillment of her wish.

But the mother is the mother. After some time the tongue disappeared from its place and was attached to the same place in the body of the same devotee.

Mahant Kapil Maharaj told that if a devotee has a desire to go to the temple of Maa Karoli.

Due to some reason, he is not able to go to see his mother, then he can take advantage of the darshan of Maa Rajarajeshwari Maa Karoli located at Mahalgaon temple.

Here too he has his form. That is why even on darshan here, the same benefit is available as Rajasthan Mata Darshan.
