China has been criticized in the UN for the restrictions in Tibet.

China’s criticism of Tibet in the United Nations, many countries including America expressed concern over sanctions.

During the 48th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, has targeted China for the restrictions in Tibet.

Representatives from the US, Denmark, Germany, EU have expressed concern over the severe restrictions on religious, linguistic, and cultural traditions imposed by China in the region.

During the session, the US targeted China for its economic exploitation, systemic racism, and attack on cultural heritage.

It also expressed concern over China’s severe restrictions on religious, linguistic, and cultural traditions in Tibet.

Meanwhile, France, on behalf of the 26 member states and the European Union, called on China to comply with obligations under national and international law to respect human rights.

It includes rights related to minorities. especially in Tibet, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia.

The Danish representative reiterated the call for China to provide the High Commissioner and other independent observers meaningful access to the investigation into the ongoing human rights crisis.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands noted serious concerns about restrictions on freedom of the press and freedom of religion in Tibet.

Switzerland also criticized China’s arbitrary detention of minorities and called for respecting the rights of the Tibetan people.
