Former Union Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram on Saturday said that coronavirus cases in India could touch the figure of 65 lakhs by the end of September. With this, he can target the BJP-led central government.

Chidambaram tweeted saying that I had predicted that by September 30, the total number of infections would reach 5.5 million. I’m wrong India will reach this number by 20 September. By September this number can touch 65 lakhs.

He said that the only country which is not taking advantage of the lockdown strategy appears to be India. PM Modi promised that we will defeat the corona virus in 21 days, he should explain why India failed when other countries succeeded.

According to India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on Saturday, India reported 86,432 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of corona virus-infected in the country has exceeded 4 million. At the same time, 1,089 more deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours.

With this, the number of males is 69,561 in the country. Congress and other opposition parties are adamant about holding the Question Hour in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, while in several states during the Corona period the Assembly session has been held without question.

During this, assembly sessions were held in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. All these assembly sessions were held without question. The earliest of these was held in Bengal without a question hour, and Trinamool Congress leader Derek O’Brien calls the killing of democracy a question hour in Parliament.

In Andhra Pradesh (16–28 June), Kerala (24 August), Punjab (28 August) Rajasthan (House Proceedings three times between 14 and 21 August), and Uttar Pradesh (20 for one to three days since March) -22 August) Assembly session called.

During this time, more than a dozen bills were passed in an assembly in a day. According to government sources, the Maharashtra government is also preparing to call assembly session soon without question hour.
