The state or other people from outside the state will not be allowed to visit Chardham at present. The visit of Hemkund Sahib has already been postponed.

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat gave the above information in a conversation with reporters at the Chief Minister’s Camp office on Thursday.

He said that even the local residents will not be able to go to the temples for worship. He said that cases of corona infection are increasing all over the country right now.

Uttarakhand is also not untouched by this. At such a time, the government is fully alert and in this order it has been decided to postpone the Chardham Yatra.

He said that the security of the common people is the top priority of the government. A decision will be taken on the yatra in accordance with the situation regarding Covid in the future.
