Amarinder Singh said that they will further strengthen the Congress in Punjab by walking together. At the same time, the Captain said that the issue in Punjab is not just one.

Punjab shares its border with Pakistan. Pakistan is sending arms and drugs daily. which is a threat to peace.

On the appointment of Navjot Singh Sidhu to the post of Congress President.

Captain said that the day party President Sonia Gandhi said that she wanted to make Sidhu the head of Punjab, she had said on the same day that her decision would be accepted by her.

Earlier, a chair for Navjot Singh Sidhu was placed in front of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh at Punjab Bhawan.

Navjot Singh Sidhu greeted him as soon as he reached the tea party. When Sidhu started sitting on his seat, some MLAs said that you sit with the CM.

Sidhu himself took his chair to Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and both of them sat together and drank tea. During this, there was also a light talk between the two.

It is expected that this will clear the ice of the frozen relationship between Captain and Sidhu. After the Tea Party, all the leaders reached the Punjab Congress Headquarters.

The Punjab Congress Bhawan was decorated like a bride for Sidhu’s coronation. Tight security arrangements were also in place.

Earlier, during the Tea Party, only those people were given entry in Punjab Bhawan whose list came from the CMO side.

Supporters were also trying to leave with Sidhu but were stopped outside by security officials.
