Canadian Parliament’s Silence for Terrorist Hardeep Nijjar Provokes Strong Indian Response.

Canadian Parliament’s Silence: The Canadian Parliament observed silence for Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, drawing a strong response from India.

Indian Foreign Ministry condemned the act, recalling the 1985 Kanishka bomb blast and reaffirming India’s stance against terrorism.

The silence was observed in the Canadian Parliament for terrorist Hardeep Nijjar, India also responded in the same language.

To which the Indian Foreign Ministry gave a befitting reply on Friday.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We naturally oppose any move that gives political space to those who advocate extremism and violence.”

Earlier, recalling the incident of an Indian civilian plane being blown up by Khalistani terrorists in 1985, India, without naming Canada, said that India knows how to deal with terrorism well.

The Indian Embassy has said that India is at the forefront of dealing with the problem of terrorism and is working together with all countries to deal with this global threat.

Recalling the Kanishka bomb blast, the most heinous terrorist air accident in the history of civil aviation, the Consulate General of India in Vancouver has given a befitting reply to Canada without naming it.

Let us tell you that Montreal-New Delhi Air India ‘Kanishka’ flight number 182 exploded 45 minutes before landing at London’s Heathrow Airport on 23 June 1985, killing all 329 people on board the plane.

The majority of these were Indian-born Canadians. Khalistani terrorists were accused of this bomb blast.

The blast was allegedly carried out in retaliation for ‘Operation Bluestar’ carried out in 1984 to flush out terrorists from the Golden Temple.

‘India and Australia’s friendship’, when Jaishankar helped the Australian Foreign Minister.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has praised Australian Foreign Minister Senator Penny Wong for coordinating with India to deliver humanitarian aid and disaster relief assistance to the landslide-hit Enga province in Papua New Guinea.

The Foreign Minister said the India-Australia friendship delivers humanitarian aid in the Indo-Pacific.

We are very happy to deliver Indian assistance while visiting the disaster area in the landslide-affected Enga province.
