Bumrah becomes the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is, breaking Yuzvendra Chahal’s record.

Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled very well in the T20 World Cup 2021 league match against Scotland and he took 2 wickets giving 10 runs in 3.4 overs.

In this match, along with Bumrah, Mohd. Shami and Ravindra Jadeja also took 3 wickets each while bowling lethally.

Due to the excellent bowling of Team India, the team of Scotland was reduced to 85 runs and it also proved to be the second-lowest score made by any team against India in T20 World Cup.

Earlier in the year 2012 against India, the England team had scored 80 runs.

Bumrah breaks Chahal’s record.

Jasprit Bumrah dismissed two Scottish batsmen in this match and he became the highest wicket-taker for India in T20 International cricket.

Bumrah broke Yuzvendra Chahal’s record and came at number one. Bumrah now has a total of 64 wickets in T20Is, while Yuzvendra Chahal has taken 63 wickets so far.

R Ashwin is at number three with 55 wickets in terms of highest run-scorer in T20 International cricket for India.
