BRICS NSA meeting today: India is presiding this time.

This time India is chairing the BRICS, an organization of five countries Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

All the meetings are going on under BRICS and usually, all the meetings of this year are being organized through the digital medium.

There will be separate meetings of BRICS Environment Ministers, Finance Ministers, National Security Advisors.

But a final decision has not yet been taken between the member countries regarding the date of the summit.

If the military tension with China ends, the summit will be held normally.

The agreement reached between India and China to end military deployment in the Gogra area located on the LAC in eastern Ladakh can also have a positive impact on the upcoming BRICS meeting.

It should be noted that many international experts have started raising questions about the future of BRICS in view of the constant tension in relations between India and China.

America’s focus on completing evacuation from Afghanistan by August 31

The Biden administration said on Monday (local time) that it is currently focused on completing the evacuation mission from Afghanistan by August 31.

In fact, in April this year, President Joe Biden had set a deadline for the withdrawal of American troops, which was earlier in September but was later shifted to August.

The Taliban, now occupying Afghanistan, is also insisting on this date.

Officials from the Pentagon and the State Department as well as the White House said that the final decision on extending the duration of the evacuation mission from Kabul Airport would be Joe Biden’s.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said, ‘The final decision will be of the president, not anyone else.’

He was responding to a question asked about August 31, the date set by the Taliban for the withdrawal of American troops, during a press conference held at the White House.
