Bollywood Strikes Back: 38 Production Houses, Sued The Channels

Bollywood Strikes Back: 38 production houses and organizations, including Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir, sued the channels. 38 film companies and organizations have filed a suit in the Delhi High Court.

Seeking to spoil the image of the Bollywood film industry, preventing some media houses and TV journalists from making irresponsible, derogatory, and defamatory statements and media trials about Bollywood.

An appeal has been made. Among those who filed suit are several big production houses including companies of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgan.

In the past four months, a lot of media reports have said a lot about Bollywood. Particularly, during the investigation of drugs, many Bollywood celebrities were linked to this and tried to describe Bollywood in a place where evil like drugs is dominated.

The civil suits filed in the Delhi High Court include Republic TV and Times Now. Also, Arnab Goswami, Pradeep Bhandari, Rahul Shivshankar, and Navika Kumar have also been made the party.

The lawsuit has also demanded the removal of image-degrading content by following the program code from the news channels. It is alleged that the channels have used very lewd language about Bollywood. 34 big production houses and 4 film organizations have come together for this debate. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri shared a list of all these names.

According to this list, The Film and Television Producers Guild of India, Screen Writers Association, The Cine and TV Artists Association and Indian Film and TV Producers Council are included.

Aamir Khan Productions, Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment, Salman Khan Films, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Ad-Labs Films, Ajay Devgan Films, Anil Kapoor Film, and Communication Network, Arbaaz Khan Productions.

Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, Cape of Good Films, Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, Rakesh Roshan’s Filmcraft Productions, Kabir Khan Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Pictures, Reliance Big Entertainment, Roy Kapoor Films, Sohail Khan Productions, Vinod Chopra Films, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, and Yash Raj Films Are included.
