The BJP on Thursday targeted Rahul Gandhi for his allegations that the government is ‘lying’ on the death of Corona. BJP said that he (Rahul Gandhi) does not know anything but speaks everything.
The BJP also cited a large number of deaths from Corona in opposition-ruled states like Maharashtra for attacking the Congress leader.
BJP said that Rahul should also speak on the situation arising out of Corona in Congress ruled states.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said on Thursday that Corona has the highest number of deaths in the state where the Congress is in the ruling coalition.
There is a considerable difference in the estimates of deaths or corroborations of corona deaths in Maharashtra as well as in Congress-ruled Rajasthan.
Instead of being immersed in Twitter and playing tweet games, Rahul Gandhi should pick up the phone and talk to the Chief Ministers of the states where his party is in power on the Corona crisis.
The BJP spokesperson also said that Rahul Gandhi should ask the Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states to take appropriate steps on the Corona crisis.
It may be known that Rahul Gandhi had on Wednesday alleged that the government is lying about the deaths due to corona infection.
Rahul had quoted the news of American newspaper ‘The New York Times’ as saying that the figures do not lie. The Indian government speaks.
Taking a dig at the Congress leaders, Patra said that the first opposition leaders had spread confusion over the vaccines and questioned the indigenous covaxin.
Sambit Patra questioned whether Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi had taken a dose of vaccines or not? Patra claimed that the central government is making all efforts to increase the domestic production of vaccines.
He said that by the end of 2021, India would be able to produce more than 200 million doses of vaccines.
The BJP spokesperson also attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that his statement about vaccination of children is unnecessary as no country has yet developed vaccines for children.
