BJP protest to allow the public to bathe in Courtallam Falls.

A protest was held on behalf of the BJP demanding the opening of Courtala Falls, a popular tourist spot in the district.

Tourists have been banned from bathing in the Kurla Falls at the foothills of the Western Ghats in the Tenkasi district for more than a year due to the spread of corona infection.

It is customary for the public to flock to Main Falls, Aintaruvi, Chitraruvi, and Old Courtallam for bathing.

It will also be a pleasant experience for the public to enjoy the pleasant scenery and environment.

In this situation, tourist destinations are being opened with various restrictions in the situation where the epidemic is declining throughout Tamil Nadu.

More than 100 party volunteers, led by BJP district president Ramaraja, chanted slogans demanding the immediate reopening of the waterfall and the cancellation of rent at the Courtallam Nadar temple.

As not only the Courtallam falls have been allowed to open so far, but traders and tourists alike have been severely affected.
