BJP Attacks Congress For Aligning With People’s Alliance
BJP attacks Congress for contesting elections by aligning with People’s Alliance , seeks response on anti-national statements.
Just before the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP attacks the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration of 10 parties including PDP and National Conference.
At the same time, Congress has also taken a dig at the DDC elections for aligning with the group.
Senior BJP leader and Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has asked Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to clear the situation on Article 370.
According to Prasad, the parties of the Gupta Agreement are demanding re-enactment of Article 370 and many senior Congress leaders have also supported them.
Ravi Shankar Prasad attacked the parties and leaders who compromised secretly, saying that his and Pakistan’s statements on Article 370 are the same.
Mehbooba Mufti insults the national flag by making a statement of hoisting the former flag of Jammu and Kashmir only till the withdrawal of Article 370.
Farooq Abdullah requests help from China for this. Ravi Shankar Prasad elaborated how the women, backward and scheduled caste people of Jammu and Kashmir have got their due right after the end of Article 370.
The Union Minister said that this has cleared the way for the benefit of the Center’s development plans to reach them.
After becoming a Union Territory, many such laws have been repealed, which promoted discrimination among citizens.
Ravi Shankar Prasad questioned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi whether they want to deprive women, scheduled castes, and backward of the benefits that they get by bringing Article 370 back.
It is to be noted that the parties that have entered into a secret agreement have decided to contest the DDC elections together. However, Congress is not involved in the secret agreement.
But in the DDC election, congress is going to collude with him.
Quoting the statements of several senior Congress leaders, including P Chidambaram, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that he has been directly supporting the anti-national and anti-constitutional statements of Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.
According to him, now Congress will have to clear the situation on this issue.
