Bill demanding the minority to be called non-Muslim was presented In Pakistan Parliament. A Hindu parliamentarian in Pakistan has introduced a bill in the lower house of parliament.

Bill constitutionally refer to religious minorities in the country as ‘non-Muslims’ to end discrimination and ensure equality for all citizens and justice can be established.

The opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party, National Assembly member Kiso Mal Khil Das, approached the National Assembly with a private member bill.

Bill demanding the minority to be called non-Muslim: The bill was introduced under Rule 118 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Legislative Affairs in the National Assembly.

The bill aims to end discrimination against Pakistani non-Muslims, who are also referred to as minorities in the constitution.

He suggested that this bill should be accepted and brought into effect immediately. The government has not opposed the bill till now and the matter has been referred to the Standing Committee concerned.

After it is reviewed by the bipartisan committee of the House, it will be presented for voting.

Newly married in Pakistan, gang rape in front of husband and family.

A sensational heart-wrenching incident has surfaced in Pakistan. The 22-year-old newlywed in Punjab province was victimized by four miscreants in front of her husband’s eyes on the first night of marriage.

These miscreants entered the house in police uniform and entered the room of newlyweds on the pretext of searching.

The incident took place on Wednesday night when the groom Muhammad Latif came to his residence in Mochipura village of Multan district with the bride.

The village is about 350 kilometers from Lahore. Late in the night, four miscreants entered the house in police uniform and gang-raped the newlyweds holding the family hostage.

The crooks also robbed one and a quarter million rupees from the wedding jewelery and home. Later, the police arrived at the scene and admitted the newlywed and her husband injured by beating.

The police have registered a case and started investigation. Punjab Chief Minister Osman Bujdar has directed the police to arrest the culprits soon and take strict action against them.

Earlier in Pakistan, a woman was gang-raped in car in front of Sarerah family. Car was parked on the side of the road as the woman was gang-raped and the family was inside. The incident was widely opposed in Pakistan.
