A new revelation has come to the fore in the Amritsar Bomb Implant Case.

Police sources say that during the interrogation of the arrested accused, it has come to the fore that they had planted the IED at the behest of Gurpreet Singh Gopi and Varinder Singh, who was jailed for drug smuggling.

In the interrogation of the police, Gopi and Varinder have revealed that the terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda had sent the IED through the drone, which was planted in the Bolero vehicle.

If police sources are to be believed, Rinda, sitting in Canada, also talked to Gopi and Varinder sitting in jail several times over the phone and ordered them to put the duty of their henchmen as to where to blast.

It has also come to the fore in the police interrogation that both the accused in jail told that there were many more big blasts to be done, the instructions of which were yet to come.

Firozpur: Suspicious goods were found outside the police station, stirred up, investigation team reached the spot.

Outside the City Police Station in Punjab’s Firjopur district, there was a stir when an object was found in suspicious condition.

According to media reports, a tape recorder was found outside the city police station.

On the other hand, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday recovered a cache of weapons during patrolling near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab.

Weapons are suspected to be smuggled across the border.

Border Security Force personnel recovered three AK rifles with six magazines, two M3 sub-machine guns with four magazines, and two pistols with two magazines in the Firozpur sector in the early hours of the day, officials said.

He told that there is a suspicion of weapons being smuggled here from Pakistan.
