Bhupendra Patel Is The New Chief Minister Of Gujarat

Bhupendra Patel is the new Chief Minister of Gujarat. Know, who is Bhupendra Patel, whom BJP made the new CM of Gujarat.

The outgoing Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani, in the executive meeting of the State BJP, has forwarded the name of MLA from Ghatlodiya, Ahmedabad, Bhupendra Patel as the next Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Union Minister and BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar said that Bhupendra Patel has been elected as the new leader of the BJP Legislature Party.

BJP MLA Bhupendra Patel was seen showing signs of victory during the announcement of the new Gujarat CM at the party office in Gandhinagar.

Bhupendra Patel of the Anandiben Patel faction, Governor of Uttar Pradesh, will be the next Chief Minister of Gujarat.

In the 2017 assembly elections, Bhupendra Patel contested from Anandiben Patel’s seat and won with a record number of votes.

Bhupendra has been the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and has also been the Chairman of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority.

After Anandiben Patel became the governor, BJP made him the candidate from his traditional seat Ghatlodia and he won the election with a record number of votes.

Here, now the departure of both Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel from Gujarat politics is being considered fixed.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government can be held on 14 September.

Observer Narendra Tomar Prahlad Joshi and in-charge of Gujarat Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav were present in the legislature party meeting.

Earlier in the Gujarat BJP Legislature Party meeting, before the election of the CM, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the CM should be such, whom the whole of Gujarat recognizes.

He also added that there is no race for the chief minister’s post, the party leaders are churning for it and whose name the high command will seal, he will be the accepted chief minister.

After the sudden resignation of Vijay Rupani on Sunday, there is a huge stir in the political circles of Gujarat.

Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Joshi were appointed central observers for the election of the new chief minister of Gujarat, both leaders have arrived in Gandhinagar.
