Bharat Biotech to conduct Phase III clinical trials of the nasal vaccine.

Another success for India in the war against Corona, Bharat Biotech approves the study of the third phase of the nasal vaccine.

The Subject Expert Committee of DCGI has given approval to Bharat Biotech to conduct Phase III Efficacy Study and Phase III Booster Dose Study for its Intranasal COVID Vaccine and asked it to submit the protocol for approval.

The news agency gave this information. This decision can prove to be effective in defeating Corona. The main thing about this vaccine is that it will be delivered to the body through the nose.

Bharat Biotech aims to conduct clinical trials on 5,000 subjects (vaccinated with 50 percent Covashield and 50 percent Covaxin).

The interval between the second dose and the booster dose maybe six months.

According to the information, in the proposal sent by Bharat Biotech to the government, it has been said that the nasal vaccine can be used as a booster dose.

This dose can be beneficial for those who have had both doses of Covaxin or Covishield.

Earlier, the Hyderabad-based manufacturer has proposed a booster dose for those who have already been vaccinated against the Covidshield and Covaxin vaccine.

What is the advantage of the intranasal vaccine?

BBV154 is an intranasal vaccine against corona based on the novel adenovirus vector, which potentiates the immune system against mucosal and T cells.

Its main advantage is that it is also effective in preventing the spread of novel coronavirus infections. Because it does not involve the use of needles, it also reduces the risk of injuries and infections.

Apart from this, trained personnel are also not required to apply the nasal vaccine.

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh became strict, gave instructions to the officials to prevent COVID-19.

There is a steady increase in cases after the arrival of a new variant of the coronavirus in India, Omicron. The crisis of Covid-19 is increasing once again in the country.

At the same time, in Chhattisgarh, the situation is worse than in Covid-19.

The number of cases in the state is increasing day by day, in view of which the Chief Minister of the state Bhupesh Baghel has adopted a strict attitude.

CM Baghel on Tuesday directed the Collectors and Superintendents of Police to take all possible measures to bring the virus under control.
