The company said that in the second and third phase studies of the vaccine, it has been found that immunity is increasing due to the vaccine.

Between June 2021 and September 2021, the vaccine was tested on healthy children and adolescents aged 2-18 years, which was successful.

The company presented the data of this study to the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) in October 2021.

After considering the results of the study, CDSCO approved the vaccine for emergency use for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years.

The company’s study has been published in the journal Lancet Infectious Diseases.

Side effects were seen in only 374 children

Bharat Biotech said that we did a Phase II and III study on the safety of the vaccine against children and adolescents aged 2 to 18 years.
