Bengal Assembly Elections: Big Decision Regarding 2021 Polls

Bengal Assembly Elections: Big decision regarding 2021 assembly elections in Bengal- Left and Congress will contest elections together.

A big decision has been taken regarding the 2021 assembly elections in Bengal. CPM Politburo has approved the proposal of an alliance of seats-sharing with Congress for the Bengal assembly elections.

Now on 30 and 31 October, the CPM Central Committee will approve it.

High sources of the Left said that it is necessary for the Left and the Congress to come together to stop the Trinamool Congress and the BJP in Bengal.

That is why the party politburo finally fought the Bengal Assembly elections together with the Congress in a two-day meeting in Delhi Has decided.

On CPM Politburo’s decision, Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “I am happy with CPM Politburo’s decision and there should be an alliance between Left and Congress to stop both Mamata Banerjee and BJP in Bengal.”

Let me tell you that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary was the President of the party when the Left and Congress jointly contested the assembly elections in 2016.

However, despite a million attempts in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, an alliance between the two parties could not be reached.

Sources from both the Left and Congress are claiming that this time the leaders of both parties at the lower level want to come together. The truth is also that fighting together of both parties is very important for the survival of both.

Now it will be interesting to see what attitude the Congress leadership takes after the opinion of its state president.

Slamming the Bihar government, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday said that the current state government has lost its way due to high power and arrogance. He said that the Janata Congress is with the Grand Alliance.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi took a dig at the Bihar government, saying – people are with the Grand Alliance

Sonia Gandhi further said that high on power and its arrogance, the present Bihar government has lost its way. Neither he says nor is good. The workers are helpless, the farmers are worried and the youth are frustrated.

People are with the Grand Alliance and this is the call of Bihar. The fragile state of the economy is overseeing people’s lives. Clay’s sons are in serious trouble today.

She said ‘Dalits and Mahadalits have been left in bad condition. The backward section of the society is also a victim of this plight. The voice of the people of Bihar is with the Grand Alliance of the Congress. This is the call of Bihar today.
