Bell Bottom Movie Collection: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ made a bang in theatres, earned so many crores.

Akshay Kumar is back on the big screen with his action thriller, Bellbottom. Akshay’s ‘Good Newwz’ was released in cinema about 18 months ago.

Bell Bottom has been released in India with over 4,500 shows across 1,500 screens. However, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, occupancy of 50% has been found in most of the places.

According to the report of a leading newspaper, ‘Bellbottom’ could not cross the 3 crore mark on the first day. The first-day earnings of the film have been between 2.50 to 2.75 crores.

A Box Office India report stated that in this scenario, New Delhi has emerged as the biggest market for the film, as it is contributing 20% ​​of the countrywide earnings.

However, the number of viewers decreased in the evening and contrary to expectations, the film could not cross the 3 crore mark on the very first day.

At present, ‘Bellbottom’ is running in less than 1000 theaters across the country, and Box Office India reported that it has opened between 15-20% occupancy.

Let us tell you that Bellbottom is the first major film to be released in theaters after the second wave of the pandemic.

But its opening day earnings are lower than that of films ‘Roohi’ and ‘Mumbai Saga’, which were released after the first wave allowed theaters to operate at full capacity.

While ‘Roohi’ earned more than 3 crores on the first day, ‘Mumbai Saga’ earned 2.82 crores.

Akshay Kumar had expressed concern in an interview with Spotboye before the release of ‘Bellbottom’, saying that releasing the film at such a time is a risk.

The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Bijendra Kala, Atul Srivastava, and National Award-winning late actress Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.

The film is written and directed by Saurabh Tyagi. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.
