Assam: BJP’s retaliation on Tarun Gogoi’s statement, said- No discussion on the name of CM post yet. Significantly, senior Congress leader Tarun Gogoi had claimed that former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi (Ranjan Gogoi) could be the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate in the Assam Assembly elections next year.

Assam Health Minister Hemant Biswa Sarma said on Monday that the BJP (BJP) has not yet decided whether it will announce the name of the Chief Ministerial candidate for the state assembly elections. Along with this, he also accused senior Congress leader Tarun Gogoi of creating a controversy by giving a statement.

Tarun Gogoi had claimed that former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi could be the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate in the Assam assembly elections next year. Ranjan Gogoi was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the government in March. Hemant Biswa Sarma said that the former Chief Justice is not even a member of the BJP yet and the President nominated him to the Rajya Sabha.

Talking to the media at the program of plasma donation camp at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, he said, ‘The former chief minister has a habit of taking names out of context and causing unnecessary controversy.’ Significantly, Congress leader Tarun Gogoi had said that I think BJP can make Ranjan Gogoi its CM face in Assam assembly elections.

He said that if the former Chief Justice can go to the Rajya Sabha, he can also be the BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate. Gogoi said that the BJP was very happy with Ranjan Gogoi’s decision in the Ram temple case in Ayodhya. This is all politics. Ranjan Gogoi accepted politics and opened the doors of politics.

There have been 35 new cases of corona infection in Mizoram, with the total number of corona infections in the state being 953. The state Department of Information and Public Relations has informed this on Tuesday. Out of a total of 35 cases, 30 cases have been reported by ZMC RT-PCR lab while five cases have been recorded by rapid antigen test.

The highest number of new cases have been reported from Ejawal. 31 cases belong to Ejawal, two cases to Kolasib and two to Mamit. A total of 953 cases have been reported in the state and 461 people have recovered and discharged from the hospital. The department says that there are now 492 active cases in the state. However, no deaths from the virus have been reported so far in Mizoram.
