However, Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB CEO Wasim Khan has confirmed the upcoming edition as well as the Asia Cup to be held in 2022 and has named the countries where these tournaments are to be played.
Pakistan Cricket Board chief executive Wasim Khan said that the 2021 Asia Cup will now be held in Sri Lanka, while Pakistan has the rights to the 2022 edition.
The Asia Cup was scheduled to take place in the months of August and September, but could not be held. The T20 World Cup in Australia was also postponed until 2021.
In addition, the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was postponed from March, was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Speaking to an English news website from India, Wasim Khan has confirmed the next Asia Cup.
