Arogyashree Hospitals need better medical services from officials: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. Taking stock of the coronavirus situation in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday directed health officials across the state to fulfill the need for a help desk – Arogya Mitra.

Reddy said that Arogyashree Hospitals need better medical services and more attention should be paid to appoint Arogya Mitrasan helpdesk of all Arogyashree Hospitals.

“The Andhra Pradesh government has come up with a unique system of hospitals based on how well they deal with the epidemic. Although updated daily, grading is currently being published every week. .The grading system should also be implemented for medical services and facilities in Arogyashree.

He said that the entire process should be completed within 15 days. He further said that 6 key standards should be maintained in all hospitals – infrastructure, doctors and paramedic accessibility, hygiene, standard medicines and quality food.

The Chief Minister directed that all these six standards should be strictly implemented in Arogyasri Hospitals.

“All COVID hospitals should also follow the same standards. Helpline number 104 call centers should work more efficiently. Allocation of beds should be done within half an hour of making a phone call. Medical kits should be available to those Want. Home isolated, “he said.

A total of 5,145 new COVID-19 cases and 31 deaths occurred in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. The total number of cases in the state has gone up to 7,44,864.

According to the data, the total cases include 47,665 active cases, 6,91,040 recoveries and 6,159 deaths. There were 6,110 recoveries from the virus on Friday in the state.

Six people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a house in Sabbavaram in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh today. The explosion has damaged parts of the house.
