Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has questioned Madrasa education over the brutal murder of a tailor in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.

He wondered whether young children were being taught in madrassas that the punishment for blasphemy was slitting.

Muslim law did not come from the Qur’an.

Khan said that children up to the age of 14 should be given general education, not madrasa education. This is their basic right. Only then should children be given any special education.
