Amit Shah on International Mother Language Day, The new education policy reflects the Modi government’s commitment to Indian languages.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that the new education policy reflects the Modi government’s commitment to the preservation, development, and empowerment of all Indian languages.

In a message on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, Amit Shah said that the mother tongue is a powerful medium of expression. He said that maximum efforts should be made to use the mother tongue.

Amit Shah tweeted that the best wishes for International Mother Language Day. This day inspires us to stay connected with our cultural heritage.

We should make maximum use of our mother tongue and foster the wisdom of the mother tongue to strengthen the foundation of our culture in children.

The mother tongue is a powerful medium of expression and a live conductor of culture. It creates, develops, and builds the social and cultural identity of personality.

Our new education policy reflects the commitment of the Modi government towards the preservation, development, and empowerment of all Indian languages.

Mother tongue day is celebrated every year on 21 February.

Let us know that International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on 21 February all over the world. Its aim is to spread awareness about its language and culture around the world.

The theme of the ISH ceremony this year is ‘Promoting multilingualism for inclusion in education and society’.

In November 1999, UNESCO announced to celebrate 21 February as Mother Language Day. Since then, International Mother Language Day is celebrated on this day every year.

Why International Mother Language Day is celebrated on 21 February only.

In 1952, on 21 February, Dhaka University students and social workers opposed the linguistic policy of the then Pakistan government. He performed this to preserve the existence of his native tongue.

There was a demand to give official status to Bangla language. Pakistani police opened fire on the protesters, but the protest continued and the Bangla language got official status.
