America Worried About Terrorist Attacks In Afghanistan

America worried about terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

The United States is concerned about the Islamic State terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, as well as serious about the Al Qaeda present there.

US Special Representative for Afghanistan Tom West said this on Monday. West from Brussels was talking to the media on the telephone.

This was West’s first on-the-record briefing to reporters since his appointment last month. In a few days, West is going to go to Pakistan, India, and Russia.

He told that the US is preparing for the next round of talks with the Taliban in Doha, but he did not give a specific date for this.

America worried about terrorist attacks: US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on Sunday that the US is not yet ready to provide financial aid to Afghanistan.

This aid will not come unless they fulfill their commitments such as an inclusive government, protecting women’s rights, and not allow any terrorist organization to re-use Afghan soil.

The Taliban called on the US to lift sanctions on Afghanistan’s central bank reserves.

Let us tell you that for the first time since the occupation of Afghanistan on August 15, the US and the Taliban were faces to face in Doha last month.

US officials held the first face-to-face meeting with representatives of the Taliban government. America says that now any decision will be taken on Taliban’s action only and its words will not be trusted at all.

During the first meeting, the Taliban categorically ruled out the possibility of cooperation with the US to control the Islamic State in Afghanistan.

US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price told about this meeting that in addition to security and terrorism, the meeting also discussed providing safe passage to American citizens.

Also, the safe and full participation of foreign nationals and Afghan citizens, human rights, and women and girls in Afghan society was also the focus of this meeting.

Apart from this, in the meeting, both sides also talked about the humanitarian aid being provided to Afghan citizens.
