Alert In Tamil Nadu And Kerala Due To Cyclone Burwi

Alert in Tamil Nadu and Kerala due to cyclone Burwi, winds will move at a speed of 90 km.

Cyclone Buravi is expected to hit the Thiruvananthapuram coast by Friday afternoon.

Heavy rains are predicted in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam.

It is reported that heavy rains will continue in these districts from December 3 to 5.

In Thiruvananthapuram, people can call the control room number 1077 in case of emergency and seek help from the district administration.

Chief Minister P Vijayan reviewed the precautionary works on Thursday. Not only this, the government in Puducherry has issued orders to close all government and private schools.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in many areas of Puducherry.
