Moradabad Akhilesh Yadav press conference ruckus lawsuit: A case has been registered against 21 SP activists including SP National President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for assaulting media personnel in Moradabad.

Apart from the SP’s national president and his bodyguards, SP workers are accused of assaulting media personnel at a five-star hotel in Moradabad.

The Pakbada police have lodged an indictment and started an investigation into the incident.

Dr. Tarun Parashar, the national president of the Indian Press Awareness Association, told the Pakbada police that the former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his workers were in the Holiday Residency Hotel on Delhi Road, Moradabad on the evening of March 11.

The former chief minister was giving press talks. After the press conference was over, some reporters in the hotel lobby asked Akhilesh Yadav a personal question.

Former Chief Minister got up angry on this question. He encouraged his security personnel and party workers to attack the journalists.

After this, the security personnel and SP workers of the former Chief Minister cracked down on the media persons. He ran and beaten the media personnel. Many journalists suffered serious injuries in this.

Treatment of injured journalists is going on in the hospital. On the basis of this incident, Pakbada police have registered a case against 21 SP workers, including the former Chief Minister.

SP City Moradabad Amit Kumar Anand informed that evidence related to the incident is being collected. There will be legal action based on the evidence.
