NCP chief Sharad Pawar today took a major decision regarding the party organization which has created a stir in Maharashtra politics.

In fact, today Sharad Pawar has killed two birds with one stone by declaring Praful Patel and Supriya Sule as working presidents of the party.

While Sharad Pawar’s decision indicates giving the command of NCP to daughter Supriya, it ignores nephew Ajit Pawar from important posts in the party.

This is considered a major setback for Ajit Pawar, who has shown a rebellious attitude against the NCP.

Ajit Pawar left the meeting midway.

Praful Patel will take over as the working president of the Nationalist Congress Party and Supriya Sule will also be the working president of the party.

Sharad Pawar announced at a function organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Nationalist Congress Party.

Ajit Pawar appeared troubled by this announcement and left the meeting without saying anything from the party office.

Ajit had allied with the BJP in 2019 and was sworn in as Deputy CM at an early morning swearing-in ceremony along with Devendra Fadnavis.

Along with the announcement of Sharad Pawar, new charges have also been assigned to Supriya Sule and Praful Patel.

By making Supriya Sule in-charge of Maharashtra, Pawar has effectively sent a big message to nephew Ajit Pawar. With this, Ajit will now have to report to Sule on party affairs.

Praful Patel was also given the additional responsibility as the party in-charge of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Goa and Rajya Sabha.

Along with this, Praful’s stature in the party also increased.
