India Mauritius Ties: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth jointly inaugurated the St. James Jetty in Mauritius today.

Along with this, both of them also jointly inaugurated six community development projects and the new airstrip of Agalega in Mauritius.

Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth said that indeed we are making history today at Agalega Island, where a new airstrip, new jetty, and many other development projects have been inaugurated.

The event marks another great moment for the remarkable and exemplary partnership between Mauritius and India.

I thank Narendra Modi for giving a new dimension to Mauritius-India relations and partnership.

This demonstrates the dynamic, robust, and special relationship that exists between Mauritius and India. Our shared priorities as members of the Global South are similar.
