Aftab Shivdasani is now reported to be on Disney Plus Hotstar’s web series Special Ops.
The next segment of the Aftab series forms part of Special Ops 1.5 – The Himmat Story, which will feature the story of Himmat Singh, the main character. Aftab made his digital debut with Zee5’s series Poison 2.
The makers of the Special Ops web series are producing the Special Ops Universe, under which stories from the major characters of the series will be introduced as mini-series.
It starts with the role of Himmat Singh. The character was played by KK Menon in Special Ops Season 1.
The story of ‘Special Ops Season 1.5: The Himmat Story’ is set in 2001 when Himmat started his career as a Raw agent. The show will be released by the end of this year.
In this, viewers will get to see the back story of Himmat Singh. The series will begin with a new case of Himmat Singh, but the turning point will come from the incident of the Parliament attack. This story will be shown in three episodes of about one hour.
The series will also be shot extensively in international locations. Director Neeraj Pandey had told about this that the special ops have been structured as a single universe.
Seasons have been moved beyond the linear narrative style and will add many interesting stories. Neeraj said that ‘Special Ops 1.5’ is neither a prequel nor a sequel.
Special Ops Season-1 was released in March last year, with a total of eight episodes. In the first season with KK Menon, actors like Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak.
Vipul Gupta, Sanyami Kher, Meher Vij, Gautami Kapoor, Sana Khan, Parmeet Sethi, and Divya Dutta appeared in different roles.

The series based on the India-China war will be released on 26 February. Abhay Deol could not attend the event at the virtual launch of the trailer due to a technical problem.
Abhay plays Major Suraj Singh in the series, whose battalion C-Company fought 3000 Chinese soldiers in 1962 in the inaccessible areas of Ladakh.
The peculiarity of this war is that only 125 Indian soldiers landed in front of the Chinese army, out of which 123 were martyred.
The series is the story of the martyrdom of these Bravehearts. 1962- In The War in the Hills, apart from Abhay Deol, Mahi Gill, Sumit Vyas, Akash Thosar, Rohan Gandotra, Roshal Rao, Hemal Ingale, Satya Manjrekar, and Anoop Soni will also appear in important roles.
