Afghan Teenager Detained: Minor Afghan youth caught from Lakhanpur, identified with passport.
During the investigation in Lakhanpur, the gateway of Jammu and Kashmir, a minor youth from Afghanistan was caught by the police.
Before entering Jammu and Kashmir, the youth was standing in the queue for corona examination at the Covid Testing Center in Lakhanpur and as soon as he took out his passport for his identity, the police arrested him.
According to the information received so far from police sources, the youth has been identified as Abdul Rehman (17) son of Abdul Rashid Rahmani resident of Kabul Afghanistan.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the Afghan national did not have a passport and visa for Jammu and Kashmir. Although in India he came in July.
His brother, a soldier of the Afghan army, is under treatment in Delhi. He was admitted to a hospital in Delhi after he sustained bullet injuries.

On being asked, he told that he wanted to go from Kashmir to Afghanistan. The police have taken the youth to Lakhanpur police station.
Further action will be taken on the basis of what comes to light after the inquiry. At present, the situation in Afghanistan is bad and people are trying to get out of there somehow and go to other countries.
According to sources, the youth had a passport and visa, but no concrete reason has come to the fore for him to go to Jammu and Kashmir.
After the occupation of the Taliban in Afghanistan, intelligence agencies are expressing the possibility of infiltration of Taliban terrorists in Kashmir.
In such a situation the police are also looking at the arrest of this young man from Lakhanpur with the same apprehension.
Intelligence agencies have also become alert after the Afghan minor youth was caught.
Intelligence and various security agencies have reached Lakhanpur police station who is trying to get information about this youth coming to Jammu and Kashmir.
On the other hand, security has been increased in Lakhanpur after the Afghan youth was caught.
Even before Lakhanpur, no one is allowed to enter Jammu and Kashmir without a covid investigation, but after that, the strictness has been increased.
