Recently, Adani Group signed an agreement to acquire the entire business of Holcim Group, the world’s largest cement company, spread across India.

With this acquisition agreement, Holcim Group’s entire stake in Ambuja Cement and ACC Cement has now gone to Adani Group and their ownership has also gone to Adani Group.

For this, Adani Group has done a deal worth 10.5 billion dollars (Rs 80,000 crore). With this, this is now the biggest acquisition to date for the Adani Group.

49% stake in Quintillion Business Media.

Adani group company AMG Media Networks will buy a 49 percent stake in Quintillion Business Media, a business news platform run by Raghav Bahl.

The company has given this information to the stock exchanges.

However, no information has been given about the amount for which this stake will be bought.

Earlier, Adani Enterprises forayed into the media business with a small stake in Quintillion Business Media itself.

Adani Sportsline of the Adani Group has also forayed into franchise cricket by securing a franchise in the premier T20 league of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Interestingly, the Adani Group had tried to buy the team for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) in October 2021 as well, but could not succeed.

The UAE T20 league is licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board and is an annual event.
