ACB In Telangana Has Arrested Four Panchayat Officers. 5 Panchayat officers arrested in Telangana for demanding and accepting bribes.

The Anti Corruption Bureau in Telangana has arrested four panchayat officers for demanding and accepting bribes.

The team has arrested four officials including Mandal Panchayat Officer and Gram Panchayat Secretary for demanding and accepting bribe of 7.5 lakh.

The accused have been identified as Village Secretary J Geetha of Mansampalli Gram Panchayat, Village Deputy Sarpanch B Narasimha Yadav, Kandi Ramesh, husband of Village Sarpanch, and Ma Srineshwaram Mandal Panchayat Officer G Srinivasulu.

Geeta, Yadav, and Ramesh were caught red-handed when they accepted a bribe of Rs 5.5 lakh at the Gram Panchayat office. Simultaneously, Srinivasulu was also caught red handed, demanding bribe and taking bribe.

He was caught by the authorities while taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh in MPDO office. The bribe amount has been seized from the possession of the accused.

All these were produced before the special court for ACB cases in Hyderabad. Further investigation is currently underway.

Telangana: Private healthcare workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by 5 February.

Telangana Public Health and Family Welfare Director Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao said on Friday that all private health workers will be vaccinated against COVID-19 by 5 February.

As many as 2,00,000 healthcare workers in both the government and private sectors have been vaccinated with COVID-19 in Telangana,.

The official said while talking to media in Hyderabad that the target is to immunize 5,00,000 healthcare workers.

He said that till Thursday a total of 65 percent of government health workers and 48 percent of private health workers have been vaccinated.

Rao also urged people to come forward to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The official said that the vaccination campaign was started on January 16 and is going well in Telangana.

Let us state that the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 16 January.

It has been touted as the world’s largest vaccination program, which will cover the entire country simultaneously.

The first objective of this campaign is to vaccinate millions of its healthcare and frontline workers. Currently, 3 crore people have been vaccinated during the first phase.
