Jayalakshmi, a resident of Pathanamthitta district, was awarded the ‘Karshak Thilakam’ award for the best student of the state govt for developing and maintaining an organic farm in the courtyard of her house.

The student had presented a sapling to the Prime Minister during the MP’s visit to Gandhi Bhavan in Pathanpuram earlier this week.
